Australian cricket sensation David Warner will be absent from IPL 2025. No franchise bid for him in last year’s November mega auction, much to the surprise of cricket lovers. Warner is one of the most successful foreign batsmen in the history of the IPL, but this season, he won’t be playing.
But Warner has kept his link with India intact. Besides cricket, he is a great fan of Indian films. He is a great fan of superstar Allu Arjun, and his dance on the song “Butta Bomma” went viral on social media.
Now, David Warner will make his Indian film debut. He has done a cameo in the upcoming Telugu action entertainer “Robinhood”, directed by Venky Kudumula, with actor Nithiin playing the lead role.

Interestingly, there has been a previous connection of Warner with Indian cinema, too. He appeared with Baahubali and RRR filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli in an ad. His love for Indian films is going to be exhibited on the big screen now.
Although David Warner won’t be featuring in IPL this season, Indian fans are eagerly waiting to watch him in the Telugu film industry. Will he be a star on the silver screen as well as he was on the cricket pitch? Only time will tell! ????✨
