Jasmin Bhasin, a popular TV actress known as one of the strongest contestants on Bigg Boss 14, recently suffered corneal damage due to an unfortunate accident with her contact lenses while attending an event in Delhi.
She revealed that this happened on July 17th. For the event, she put in contact lenses as usual, but within minutes she started feeling pain in her eyes. Despite the pain, she attended the event because of her commitments. She said, “I don’t know what was wrong with my lenses, but after I wore them, my eyes started hurting, and the pain gradually got worse. I wanted to rush to a doctor, but since it was a work commitment, I decided to attend the event and then go to the doctor. I wore sunglasses at the event, and the team helped me manage things because, after a point, I couldn’t see anything.” After some time, she noticed she was having trouble seeing anything as her vision became weak.
After the event, she rushed to a doctor who told her that her corneas had been damaged due to the mishap with her contact lenses, resulting in temporary blindness. She then rushed to Mumbai to get treatment. The doctor told her she should get better after 4-5 days but needs to take good care of her eyes. Right now, she can’t see anything and has bandages on her eyes. She is in severe pain and can’t sleep properly due to the pain.
Aly Goni, her boyfriend, made her feel special and better by posting a photo on Instagram. He called her “Strongest” and dedicated the song Tu Hai Toh Mujhe Phir Aur Kya Chahiye from the movie Mr & Mrs Mahi.
Today, Jasmin shared a picture of herself wearing black sunglasses and said she is feeling better and recovering. She thanked everyone for their love and blessings.
